Verbier engineered oak

Published:

The timeless elegance and charm of working with natural materials remains ever popular in HM projects and the Verbier engineered wooden flooring provides the ideal foundation.

The perfect neutral base, exposed natural grain and beautiful knots give just the right amount of character. A classic wooden flooring with a contemporary twist that’s sympathetic to cosy dining rooms and sprawling open plan kitchens alike.

The soft taupe undertones of Verbier lends itself perfectly to this stunning entrance hall at the Chigwell project. Combining understated elegance with functional practicality, the Verbier works cohesively with the surrounding neutral tones and vibrant greens. This truly is a stunning hallway that welcomes guests to the home and provides an incredibly beautiful and inspiring first impression.

Engineered oak is durable, low maintenance and can easily tolerate changes in humidity and temperature making it perfectly compatible with underfloor heating. So whether you are undertaking a large-scale renovation or looking to update the flooring of just one room in your home, that’s one less thing to have to ponder over.

Another key point we like to make about the Verbier (and in fact all of the engineered oaks in our range) is how easy it is to maintain.

All of the engineered oak flooring from HM Flooring Library have a matt UV oiled finish – sleek, refined, slightly silky to the eye, whilst keeping the emphasis on the natural grains in the timber.

The finish is ideal to help disguise minor imperfections caused by wear and tear over a long period of time. UV oiled oak means the oak has been exposed to a high capacity of UV lights which cures the oil quickly and efficiently; this makes it a stronger surface finish in comparison to a natural oil.
