The Wilton Porcelain

CALM. CLASSIC. COMPOSED. The Wilton natural effect porcelain has a wonderful neutral base giving it an understated and subtle feel to any design. Not only is it a durable, hardwearing tile, but what makes it even more appealing is its flexibility; suiting both traditional and modern schemes alike.

We’re thrilled to be able to share some images of it installed in this wonderful family home. The @humphreymunson clients at the Seer Green project wanted something that would help balance the light and space in the newly designed open plan kitchen and dining areas. And the Wilton does just that, with a smattering of lightly scattered golden tones to keep just enough warmth in the tile.

Here you can see the Wilton installed in the kitchen, dining room and utility room but the clients also chose to run it through to the hallway, for that continuous flow that we just love to see.

The natural-effect markings often lead to it being mistaken for limestone quarried straight from the ground.

Because there’s no requirement to seal porcelain tiles (they are non-porous) it makes it a very low maintenance alternative to natural stone. It has a beautiful, textured quality to it, with a slight hint of relief underfoot, giving it its matt surface.

Furthermore, it’s suitable for both domestic and commercial interior floors with high traffic areas making this tile an all-rounder. It’s available in a 60.4cm x 90.6cm x 1.0cm format and pricing starts at £65.00 per SQM + VAT & delivery, however we do offer quantity based discounts depending on the order size.

We charge £5.00 per sample which you can request through the website using or over the phone. All sample orders are deductible from any order placed with HM Flooring library.
