SHOWROOM ASSISTANT – LONDON SHOWROOM

Location: 583 King’s Road, London, SW6 2EH

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Closed at weekends, Christmas and Bank Holidays.

We are seeking a full-time Showroom Assistant to join our team at the London showroom on King’s Road. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about kitchens, interior design and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both the design and client service teams while maintaining the highest showroom standards.

To excel in this role, you should have a blend of administrative and customer-facing experience, ideally within the luxury or interior design market. You will need to be personable, well-organised and able to assist in the day-to-day operations of a high-end showroom.

Key Qualities:

  • 2-3 years experience working in a similar role within an interior design / architecture studio is essential.
  • A strong interest in interior design; formal education in design is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident in building and maintaining relationships with clients, architects, and designers.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Highly proficient and experienced with technology including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe and related software.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Client Engagement: Meet and greet visitors, ensuring every client has a welcoming and professional experience. Establish strong relationships with clients and assist in guiding them through the showrooms.

Support to Design & Sales Teams: Assist in preparing design proposals, maintaining the samples library, and managing product samples for clients and the design team.

Administrative Duties: Handle general showroom administration including managing incoming and outgoing deliveries, scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars, hospitality for clients including preparation and serving refreshments.

Presentations & Events: Assist with the organisation of presentations, client meetings, and showroom events to ensure seamless communication and an engaging atmosphere.

Showroom Standards: Maintain the showroom’s visual merchandising to ensure it reflects the quality and craftsmanship associated with Humphrey Munson.
