Petersham Nurseries has some really exciting news! On May 20th 2021, Francesco and Gael Boglione (the founders of Petersham Nurseries) will release their new book. The book charts a twenty year journey from a small plant nursery behind the pairs family home to intertwining recipes as well as narratives from family members and sketches. Here’s why we love it…

Destined to be the perfect coffee table accompaniment the 432 page book covers the story of the Boglione family in their own words, transporting the reader through changing seasons at the nursery, to the family run farm in Devon and Tuscan vineyards. You will also discover expert styling tips for the home and garden as well as 36 delicious seasonal recipes all illustrated with 240 beautiful colour photographs by Andrew Montgomery as well as archive photography.

The recipes in particular pay tribute to the brand ethos of simple, provenance-led cooking throughout the year. The narrative begins in autumn with Burrata with pickled pumpkin, olive and autumn leaves as well as other recipes such as whole baked lemon sole with wild mushrooms, capers and kale. For winter, why not try the risotto with Tema artichokes and parmesan? Springtime brings recipes such as roasted courgette, tomatoes with garlic, thyme, chard and labneh, summer provides courgette fritti or for a sweet treat that will remind you of the tearoom there’s a spiced honey cake and chocolate almond cake.
