Outdoor flooring | charm & character

Published:

Classically characterful, the weathered Cadogan limestone tiles are a firm favourite for a reason. This charming, timeless tile has a wonderful subtle honey tone that works as the ideal base for Peter Humphrey’s outdoor kitchen and dining spaces at his home in North Essex.

The buff muted colour is what first draws your attention to this tile which works so well in a host of outdoor schemes. As you come close to the Cadogan tiles you will notice an array of fissures interspersed throughout the surface, this is not only forgiving when it comes to dirty footprints (and pawprints) but it also creates a wonderful sense of movement across both smaller and larger spaces.

Another bonus of the etched low-slip surface is that it lends itself perfectly for use as steps, swimming pool surrounds and other areas of high traffic such as outdoor kitchens.

The Cadogan truly shines – unlike the English weather this summer(!) – in this outdoor living and cooking space complete with an outdoor kitchen, coffee table and side table by Humphrey Munson and Vincent Sheppard Safi sofas.

Available in various bespoke sizes and as a coping stone, the Cadogan limestone can be used both internally and externally for a seamless flow outside. Something that can be fully appreciated during those blissful warmer months spent with the doors open.
