*New* Spenlow Pantry At The HM Showroom in Felsted, Essex

Published:

We have made some exciting new changes to our Felsted showroom recently, with one of our favourites being this newly photographed Spenlow Pantry which we are now so delighted to share with you. Previously part of the old workshop (which was relocated just over a year ago to another much larger building on site), this disused area is now a luxury dream walk-in pantry.

This small but mighty pantry is hand-painted to the very highest standard by our fantastic team of hand-painters with the finest finish as always. The paint colour is HM Soot, a bespoke colour to Humphrey Munson made exclusively by Mylands. Using natural earth pigments, this is a deep moody green / black, with a subtle sheen which works particularly well with the weathered bronze handles on the drawers and the light quartz worktop.

A mix of open and closed shelving has created the optimum storage space which takes a vast amount of pressure off the main showroom kitchen. Starting at the top is open shelving on all three sides of the pantry with a beautiful butt and bead panelling behind, perfect for Kilner jars, tins and packets of dried food. Beneath the open shelving are quartz worktops used for storing larger everyday appliances like a Kitchen Aid mixer, Magimix and pasta machine as well as baskets and bread boards. This is not only a great space for storage but the opportunity for food prep is fantastic and all tucked out of the way.

Beneath the worktops are deep drawers large enough to store cooking equipment, servingware or more unsightly open packets of food that you don’t necessarily want on display. This walk-in pantry is so useful we honestly don’t know what we would do without it!

If you’d like to come and see this new walk-in panty room in person, please give us a call on 01371 821300 or email us at info@humphreymunson.co.uk to make an appointment. Both showrooms are by appointment only so please don’t make the journey to see us unless you have confirmed this with us first. Images: Paul Craig
