Joseph Giles specialise in the design and manufacture of luxury hardware for exclusive high-end residential, hospitality and commercial projects all over the world.

Where it all started…

The business began in 1998 as an importer of predominantly European brands and supplying to the UK market. At this time, there was a particular handle; a timeless classic created by a Danish architect in the 1970’s, that was being specified on most projects. While this was a designers favourite, Joseph Giles realised it wasn’t necessarily right for every scheme and there was certainly demand for something a bit different.

With this, the company started to design their own products, notably the stunning ‘Cube’ lever handle design. While at the time, deemed unconventional, it was an instant success and paved the way for Joseph Giles to design and make their own signature collection; this included the contemporary leather-wrapped door handle – a world first!

Proud of their British heritage and working with some of the finest craftspeople in the country, they strive, and succeed, to deliver exceptional products. Each and every product that has been created is then hand finished by the artisans at the heart of the company.

Our new Marton handle is a bespoke collaboration between HM and Joseph Giles and is shown in the contemporary Spenlow kitchen above finished in polished brass. Other finishes including polished nickel, satin nickel, weathered bronze and aged brass are available. We love how the handles really pop against the new Greenwich oak finish used on the cabinetry in this kitchen. Please note this handle is available exclusively for HM clients and not sold separately.
