Hide is a restaurant and bar by Hedonism Wines and Ollie Dabbous. Set over three achingly beautiful designed floors flooded with natural daylight, you can enjoy spectacular views across Green Park and will find yourself falling in love with a restaurant that prides itself on refined, sustainably sourced food and drink.

The Hide story begins with Ollie Dabbous who opened his first restaurant Dabbous in 2012 and after remarkable critical acclaim and a Michelin star it quickly became one of London’s busiest restaurants.

In 2017 however, Ollie closed Dabbous to open Hide: ‘The food I cook is entirely product-driven, taking the very best ingredients, questioning why we like them, and then highlighting those qualities in the most organic, restrained manner. It is food you can’t recreate at home, but it is also food that respects the integrity of the ingredient and the toil that goes into producing them. The opportunity to collaborate on Hide: the challenge and possibilities were too compelling to deny. I have the same hunger now as I did when I first put on an apron, and look forward to creating a thriving business, sustainably operated & enjoyed by all.’

Hide above offers views over Green park to diners in a light filled dining room that feels elegant and tranquil, here you can enjoy a set lunch or tasting menu with paired wine. Hide ground is the beating earth of the restaurant, a place to truly be nourished and comforted away from the bustle of the city. This level serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner with a sizeable a la carte menu showcasing the vest seasonal ingredients the majority of which are sourced from a special selection of small farmers and suppliers around the UK. Everything is made in-house where possible, including the charcuterie, bread, jams, juices and pickles.

Last but not least is Hide below ground is a basement bar serving classic cocktails and contemporary creations from an extensive list of the world’s finest and rarest spirits, all available for guests to taste. As with the food, the focus of the cocktails at Hide is flavour and the menu changes seasonally so that ingredients used always taste their best. Below ground also houses the walk-in cellar where you can choose your own wine and three different private dining rooms; The Broken Room, The Shadow Room and the Reading Room.

Created using sustainable, organic ingredients love, care and attention are key to creating the too good to eat menu. The seasonal mouth watering, delicious array of choices include starters of warm onion soup, smoked eel and bitter leaves with caviar, chestnut parcels in a duck & fenugreek broth and Hands-cut pasta with black truffle, butter and parmesan.

For your main course why not sample the poached chilean sea bass with toasted buckwheat, radish and naturtium or the roast fallow deer, celeriac, winter chicory & wax tipped pear – then for the finale we’d love to try the warm acorn cake with smoked caramel, choice of liqueur and Cornish clotted cream.

Hedonism Wines was established in 2012 in the heart of Mayfair, London a boutique that specialises in fine wine and spirits and has become a real source of interest for wine and spirit lovers alike. Sourcing an impressive 6,500 wine and 4,000 spirits (give or take a little) Hedonism Wines checks the provenance of every bottle and since 2012 have been nominated for and won, many awards from their collection of selected wines and spirits.
