We certainly subscribe to the theory that comfort is the ultimate luxury and that’s why the first 3 prototypes of the Havisham counter stool were sent back for additional padding. After many rounds of alterations and tweaks, we are so happy with the design of these stools because not only do they suit our kitchens perfectly; they are supremely comfortable and built to last.

The sleek Havisham counter stool has a classic contemporary design which lends itself perfectly to modern living. The solid wood frames are handmade using traditional joinery techniques and can be finished in our range of bespoke accent woods including natural oak, Portobello oak, Smithfield weathered oak or the new Berkeley oak so that the seating is finished to tie in with the main kitchen. The upholstered seating is finished in the finest quality Italian leather creating a beautiful yet highly practical finish perfect for entertaining and family life alike.

The counter stool design is ideal for sitting at a raised counter for long periods of time. The seating is padded with a curved back to support your upper half as well as a bar to put your feet on providing the perfect seating for children to do their homework, or for guests to perch with a glass of wine whilst dinner is being prepared.

The counter stools above at the Cobham project have been upholstered with the best quality Italian leather in a rich green, with Berkeley oak frames to tie in with the rest of the kitchen design.
