Flavourtown Bakery is a multi-award winning bakery based in London who specialise in cupcakes with serious wow-factor, show-stopping cakes and moorish brownies and cookies that you simply can’t resist. Hand baked every morning using the worlds finest ingredients, Flavourtown has a range of cakes to suit everyone whether you’re looking for something simple, extravagant, gluten free or vegan.

A bakery like no other, Flavourtown Bakery has been making amazing cakes, cupcakes, cookies and brownies by hand since 2013. The exceptionally talented team have a meticulous eye for detail as well as quality and flavour – the cakes don’t just look good, they taste incredible too.

This is due not only to the experts crafting them but the ingredients too. Used due to the fact it makes melt in your mouth cakes, the bakery only uses Lescure artisanal butter in bakes which is made in France’s Charentes region. All of the caramel sauces, compotes and curds are handmade in the bakery in small batches with all natural ingredients…

‘We only use organic free range farm fresh eggs which are accredited by the Organic Growers Association, The Soil Association, RSPCA Freedom Foods and British Red Lion Quality to ensure the hens receive the highest potential standards of animal welfare – our farmer even hand delivers to us.

We use Lescure butter which is churned by hand in the Charentes region in France, Valrhona cocoa powder, the finest chocolates from France and Belgium and the purest vanilla from Madagascar.

Our fruit is all fresh and we hand make all our sauces, compotes, fillings and caramels.’

The cupcakes in particular undergo months of recipe testing and tweaking before being unveiled to customers. Flavourtown Bakery believe that the cupcake isn’t just a poor relation but rather the king of the dessert world. Five years of perfecting their cupcake recipes has resulted in two Great Taste Gold awards for their bakes and they have been voted the best cupcakes in London by Time Out magazine.

Sometimes only a cake will do for occasions and Flavourtown Bakery has that covered! Offering four sizes to cater for any occasion, you can opt for a 6inch cake that’s ideal for a tea party right up to a 12inch cake that’s great for larger gatherings (or extra hungry mouths).
