Daylesford Cottages

A few weekends ago I called in to visit the dreamy Daylesford Farm in Kingham, Gloucestershire. A word to the wise – by all means visit, but be prepared to want to set up camp and never leave. As well as the fabulous courses in their Cookery School, and the ultimate sanctuary that is the Hayburn Spa, you can now stay over in one of their beautiful Cotswold cottages which are handily located nearby the famous Daylesford farmshop.

When you book your stay you choose from the standard Daylesford experience – so each guest will enjoy a one hour treatment in the Bamford Haybarn Spa or a full day Cookery School Course, or you can create your own totally bespoke Daylesford experience. It’s no surprise that the Daylesford Cottages were named Best Holiday Cottages in the 2015 Cotswolds Awards when you see how beautifully appointed the cottage are: they really are the ultimate in comfort and understated luxury.

Making the most of the Jurassic limestone that defines the area, the interior design of the cottages at Daylesford quietly embraces the enduring beauty of the golden coloured Cotswold stone.

The Hayburn Spa uses products by Bamford and while we love them all, the geranium collection is hands down our favourite and you’ll find their products in the Daylesford cottages too.
