Crosby Street Hotel, New York

The wonderful Crosby Street Hotel is situated on a quiet cobbled street in the heart of New York’s vibrant SoHo neighbourhood between Prince and Spring Streets. Everything is on the doorstep including some of the world’s most exciting shopping, bars, restaurants, cafes and galleries.

On one side of Broadway is SoHo with its international designer stores. On the other is NoLita with its criss-cross of cobbled streets and variety of small independent shops and restaurants.

The Crosby Street Hotel is part of the Firmdale group, so as you’d expect it fully embraces the vibrancy and fun of Design Director Kit Kemp’s special blend of inspired fabrics, textured wall coverings and colourful artworks.

Each of the 86 bedrooms and suites are spacious and light with floor-to-ceiling warehouse style windows. The upper floors have spectacular views stretching across lower Manhattan. All rooms have been designed in an individual style by Kit in her fresh, contemporary style.

Luckily they realised this was going to be a popular spot when they created the Crosby Street Hotel (the site was previously a car park) and so the socialising of this super cool area can spill out onto a patio on Lafayette Street as well as a central foliage-filled residents-only courtyard which is an absolute sanctuary in this bustling city that never sleeps.
