Burleigh Pottery x Ralph Lauren Published: 23-02-2020 We recently featured the simply exquisite Burleigh Pottery x Ralph Lauren tableware collection on our blog (feel free to read here) and love their new colour ‘Green’ we just had to share it.For those who aren’t aware, Ralph Lauren recently partnered with Burleigh, the storied, 160-year-old English pottery maker in a first-ever collaboration that celebrates the best of modern American style and fine English tradition. The designs were inspired by an East Asian block-printed batik fabric. The new green tableware is available in two patterns; Faded Peony – a dense mix of florals and Garden Vine – which can be mixed and matched to create an eclectic and personal combination that is perfect for everyday entertaining.Burleigh’s artisans work meticulously to create these beautiful hand-finished pieces. Each item is a one-of-a-kind collectible, reflecting both companies’ commitment to quality and craftsmanship very much synonymous with our kitchens here at Humphrey Munson.Amazingly, Burleigh is the last pottery maker in the entire world to practice tissue transfer printing. This is a 250-year-old technique that has been skilfully applied to these custom Ralph Lauren designs.Fun Fact: Tissue transfer printing allows for one colour to be used in each piece, with a gradation of density that creates a richly textural appearance – plus the pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe so they are super practical as well as beautiful. To see more of this collection visit the Burleigh website here.Images: Burleigh x Ralph Lauren Share this article Copy this link https://www.humphreymunson.co.uk/burleigh-pottery-x-ralph-lauren/ Share Copy link Previous Article Frenchie | Covent Garden Next Article Veggie Lasagne Pasta Roll Ups
