Humphrey Munson | Bespoke Dog Beds

For many of our clients it’s hard to imagine a home without a furry friend (or two) and so it would only be right that they had a beautifully made, comfortable place to relax and rest after a long walk. Although Humphrey Munson is known for handmade kitchens, Peter Humphrey the design director and founder of HM designed a stand alone dog bed that can be ordered entirely separate from a project.

Designed and manufactured using traditional joinery techniques at Humphrey Munson’s workshops in Felsted, Essex, each dog bed is made to order and is set on four sturdy feet with a sweeping curve that was inspired by HM’s traditional swan neck drawers used in their projects.

Each dog bed is, also, of course, handmade using dovetail joints – a mainstay of traditional English cabinetmaking that not only looks lovely but provides a stronger join which provides longevity. Two handles either side are perfect for ensuring they can be easily transported either around the house or stowed in the back of the car so that pets can travel in style.

Much like our kitchens, the dog beds are designed and built to last – not just to look good.

Small dog bed in Classic oak finish – 600mm Length x 400mm Depth x 245mm Height  – £295 inc VAT.

Medium dog bed in Berkeley oak finish – 800mm Length x 600mm Depth x 295mm Height £395 inc VAT

Large dog bed in Portobello oak finish – 1000mm Length x 800mm Depth x 295mm Height £495 inc VAT
