Artisan Shelves

An often overlooked feature in Humphrey Munson projects, artisan shelves are a subtle but integral part of many kitchen, walk in pantry, boot and utility rooms designs.

Usually painted, artisan shelves are designed to both blend in and keep the space balanced whilst also provide a useful storage spot.

Generally speaking, artisan shelves in kitchens are used for glassware and tableware close to the cooking or scullery areas of the space, in a walk in pantry they offer open storage for things like Kilner jars and other dried ingredients whilst in utility rooms you can keep laundry, baskets and other items neat, tidy and out of reach from little ones.
